CE is a vast game with a lot to take in and learn. But take small bites at it and you'll be fine. Make sure you do the starter missions and work out what type of main profession you want to do. USE the player base both HERE in the forums and in Discord Chat.

Yes this game is FAR deeper than it appears at first glance. Theres quite a bit of
content which won't be accessible to you until you level up somewhat. Theres a lot of
balance between new/low/middle/high levels to keep everyone occupied.

It's quite a good game. Intelligent, well-thought-out, well-crafted. I wish I could spend as much time as I used to on it, but work is taking more of my time.
The single best thing about this game is the freedom. You really can be whatever you choose here. Your adventure depends upon your interests and ability. You're not channeled through someone else's story-line or character classes. You can make yourself into whatever you choose, if you have the talent and the dedication. You can be a pirate, an explorer, whatever. Enjoy.
