Vermin Control take tough stand

Post by Gus Givens »

Some think they are cute, some think they must be Alien pets, others think they taste great in a bun. What ever your line of thinking Vermin Control has had enough of Ribblez (Ribus Verminicus).

Recently several stations have been almost overrun by these cute yet extremely hungry critters. We took a deeper look at the issue.

A spokesman for Vermin Control stated that they can chew through almost anything and the fact they multiply so fast makes them a class one pest. In fact so much so that any captain that allows Ribblez to escape from their ship will now find themselves with a bill from Vermin Control.

John Masters, Vermin co-ordinator Sphere ; "We have been busy this last 48 hours with several large infestations escaping from ships in the sphere. One captain had over 400 on-board! Seems as they grow in population so does their collective intelligence. They managed to conceal themselves in large crates being moved off the ship and quickly began to infest the docking bay."

He went on to say, "100's of ships were locked down and we had to open the dock to hard vacuum to ensure we got them all. This type of blatant disregard for vermin quarantine will not be tolerated any more. We will destroy all escaped Ribblez and if we can prove point of origin will bill the Captain responsible."

A spokesman for Svens renowned trading store reminded Captains that they are happy to take Ribblez off Captains and in fact it appears they have recently gone up in barter value. What Svens does with them is still a secret.
