Hello,
I have not been able to find a solution to the following query, what does one research in order to move Genesis resources from the Genesis planet to the CS transport system? I am not asking about the contract tree!
I cannot seem to find the correct tree. Do you need an additional building to open the tree?

The CS transport option gets unlocked at higher deployment levels, as long as you have the freight port installed and have the correct deployment level, you can transfer to either ship or CS.

Out of the top of my head, CS unlocks on deployment level 7
