Corp mining plus combat question

Hello!
I just want to confirm my mistake when I was hiring third pilot: there is NO nebula mining in Corps?
I was hope that I will see some Nebula mininig mission when I wear GSR Office, but, hm, there is none...
And my crew is now lvl 18 so I rather won't dismiss her...
And another question: what affect combat mission time?
In haulage is cargo space, but in combat - dunno. I tried bigger gun, bigger shield, even bigger cargo - nothing, seems that time is affected only with distance.
