Well what a complexity! WOW!
Dunno where to start guys...

I'm trying to figure out everything, and finding myself postponing everything. There is SOOO much to understand, and I find so little time. BUT...I have noticed a little bonus that I have (tnx) and that is, that I can set back my skills. Ok...so as you might all know, I game you long time.

I'm 39...German, my first comp was an Amiga 500.

I personally was attracted to the game cause it is advertising that it doesn't doesn't do PvP that much. HEY!!! I love games, but I'm getting very tired of building and building and building to be able to slam another player...BEFORE I'm slammed at. It gets real boring after a few decades.

I'm slow, I need time, I like time, and I love my time off. And if I have a 13 year old boy from the other side of the world trying to KILL me every day when I log in to my spare time...well then my spare time is rotten.

So, WOW! Look...since 3 days I'm like "WOW"!!!
Stock market? Settlements? Crafting? Wwwhat?

The complexity of the game has touched me. Very cool!

Ok questions!!! Lol
1) which is my second ship?
2) where can I make most bucks between lvl 18-25?
3) sell to joes??? Good thing?
4) what law lvl should meet which player lvl?

Ok...now to thinks that I found very shitty and confusing at the start, but I finally solved with lots of frustration and "quitting thoughts".
1) where is the festive office?
2) my map is a major pain in the ars!!! Doesn't work! (mobile connection) ..without a map it's not possible to play this game. Many play mobile today, the map needs fixing. It doesn't work sufficiently.
3) yeah, I got fuel in the fuel depot...HOW DO I GET IT OUT?? A very very frustrating point for me this was. There has to be more info. The only info I got was after I tried to dock onto the fuel depot.

Anyway...I solved it all. I'm blasting away everything in my sight. lol...and having fun. Tnx for this great complex game. I vibrate ab

Oh, yes! And give me 20k please...or...rather some fuel...or, rather a nice shield....or maybe a new ship? ) lol
Naw, 20k fuel will do...oh, I see! Ok credits then...

Hello Captain SilverSun, welcome to Core Exiles.

Questions:
1) you only have 1 ship, you can upgrade into a better ship after level 20 (I think). Start saving your credits.
2) Hauling (passengers or cargo) is great for credits, combat if you want loot, but mostly whatever you find most interesting.
3) NOOO don't sell to Joes, thats the *bottom* of the economy. Look into the GBM for far better prices. Plus
since there is no storage charge anymore, you can accumulate stock for free, so you can wait for good bids on the GBM.
4) Law level - no real formula there. You will need bigger ships / better equipment for lower levels. So whatever
level gives you a good selection of green/yellow ships works best. A level-100 player in a hauler ship might not
go below level 7 where as a level-40 player in a combat specialist ship might work level 5 or L4. Depends on your preferences.

1/2/3 - well you found the map, there is also a CE FINDER adjacent to the map launcher to locate specific stores.
And CE was not meant for mobile devices, its designed for browsers. Although most things work, there are some issues
that are not likely to be fixed (for now).

Hi there Silversun,

As you've found 'asking' is the best way to find out. Depending on your time Zone (Germany is only one hour out from game main time I believe) So you should find myself and a few of the other 'regulars' in chat here to help you with most of the 'early questions'.

Things like where to find the Festive Center etc would have been answered for you pronto and saved you a bundle of time.

I would suggest a good session familiarizing yourself with ALL the options on the footer and pull out tabs. Most of the answers to where, and what can be found within the tools provided, but like I say when you cant find the answer - just ask

We have a lot of primers in the Help & Guides section and players here are a friendly bunch, they are happy to help. After all you're likely going to be selling them resources and becoming a trade friend shortly

Finally...

CE IS Huge and yes it CAN be complex. But you don't have to do it all at once. Start small, start slow and learn as you go. There is no penalty in CE for moving slow. No race to be at the top. Your journey in CE is about you and your captain. Some have been making that journey with us for over Ten years and they STILL don't know everything about CE

Yes I found another "endless" list from the promenades! That's a good one! And also the captain log explained to me why I got all kinds of weapons suddenly. Lol
Yes, I will take my time. So many millions for a new ship seems like "eek"...but I think I'm getting the hang of it. Mining seemed boring, but a mining drone sounds interesting. crafting? seems like my brain will colaps if i start with that... lol. combat is fun for now, and doesn't need much fuel at all to generate cash. Got 2 reactors (1250 energy) and saving up for that 3rd reflection shield. Skipping the 2nd, saving half a million.
Can anyone give me a hint where I can get a nice reduction on that shield? Been looking around forever....hard to find.
