Hello Captain Haining, an excellent film.
Xplode I suspect you are not from the UK, The African Queen is one of those movies that was/is a staple of the christmas TV schedules here.

My personal favorite Christmas movie is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
And i think the global favorite is the Home Alone movies.
I may give The African Queen a watch one day, at least it's on my radar now.
