I use chrome on a chrome book. From the USA Idaho. No issues unequipping and equipping from ships load out.

I have used IE and Chrome on a windows XP pc at home in California, and play extensively on my i-phone(chrome, no safari) throughout the Central Valley; I only get logged out on either one when I click too fast and the game thinks I'm trying to refresh while mining or fighting.

Problem: "insufficient permissions" prompt requiring re-login when trying to access any part of ship load out (via bottom menu - wrench).
I can dock/undock, change pods, specials and pretty much everything else. Exactly the same on all browsers listed.

Sorry for the fuss, Coops.
I'm happy to keep looking into this as it's a strange one. I again checked in with over a dozen players plus the staff in the last 24 hours and none have any issues. What's slightly weird is that the session checks are the same no matter what page you visit, so the fact you can get logged out when accessing only a specific area makes very little sense. There is no difference in how that section works to say how mining, combat or exploring or any of the game works.

As a test I have amended the login session expire message on the Ships Load out, Pod and Special Load out screens. The title of the message will now have a (1) or 2, or 3 in it at the end of the title.

Can you try and tell me if you get one of these or just the normal message.

Many thanks.

I am in Indiana, US

I have only tried it in Chrome
Internet is Exede Satellite.

Insufficient Permissions requiring re-login, occasionally it kicks all the way to a login screen.
I also occasionally have a problem with the game thinking I am docked when I am in space. I normally try 3 other places and then try to dock again and it works.

I don't see any difference, certainly no number. Title is Insufficient Permissions...

Just spitballing, but I would have no objection to sending you my login information. Perhaps you have it and have tried it; I'm afraid I am not very knowledgeable in this area and mean no offense by offering dumb ideas. =)

: )

My location is Northern Wisconsin, USA.
I also use satellite internet.

I get the "Insufficient Permissions" screen while trying to access the mailbox, docking/undocking-- I had to try and dock with a jump gate 14 times before it would actually go through,-- and during combat looting. I haven't tried mining, so I don't know about that.

I tried to attach a screen shot of the page, but got a file too large error.

For me at least, this started right after my last CE Store purchase was delivered. Perhaps something I purchased is conflicting with something else in my ship. I.E. combat maximizer pod is conflicting with messiah turret pod?

This was my fear for you... the fact you didn't see any numbers after the words after Insufficient Permissions... means it has nothing to do with the actual pages your trying to process. Nearly every page in CE has a header page, the blue bit at the top with the location image and data etc. This has the same message and is processed on EVERY page before the pages you are having trouble with.

The fact your getting kicked and the message has no numbers indicates that your being kicked by the header code (the same as run on nearly ever page). This means that the issue is nothing what so ever to do with the specific pages your having issue with. Which in turn makes it even weirder.

I'll login to your account here today and give it a run around but to be honest i don't expect that will have any affect or highlight the issue as the session seems to being killed by your machines / browsers. IE its not account related or server related.

Server sessions are being set and stored and destroyed / cleaned up as they should, else 'everyone' would have an issue.

The odd log out with that message is normally due to rapid button clicking (IE not letting the page update before you try to click again -0 normally combat and mining where players try to mine or combat faster than their connection and browser can handle).

But getting logged out repeatedly, and the issue not affecting 99% of the player base, points heavily at something on your Machines, that's physically destroying the session. Perhaps recently installed antivirals or malware. Or a recently added browser addon. If it were a code or server issue it would affect everyone the same. As non of the staff for players I've talked to can replicate or suffer this issue it is time to look closer to home.

I'll login play your toon locally and report back.

@ Xanid - Try it now. I did notice that on your Ships Load out you had non existent items fitted. A dead give-away that at some stage during your play time the browser had returned bogus IE poor data. This had lead to you having items fitted that did not exist in the CE Database.

Whilst i didn't get logged out I did spot this and fix it. I have removed all your load-out and replaced it back on your ship. Try that now.

The combat loot maximizer wont affect anything to do with a session. We have a lot of players using those these days and no one else is reporting issues. Perhaps akin to Xanid I need to 'fly' your ship and see if I can spot anything untoward? If your happy for that let me know.

It worked! Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!

The item you described was a cargo extender modified by research. It didn't show a graphic, but I had no issues with it for weeks. I was just too dumb to point it out, haha!

Thank you Coops, you are the best. Sorry for the inconvenience.
