: )
I've been having problems with staying logged into the game. I've tried clearing cookies and cache--didn't help; trying a different browser does the same thing. I would file a bug report, but I can't seem to stay logged in long enough. I log in, can do only a few actions, and then get a screen telling me I'm not logged in. Re-logging in from there does the same thing. I'm using Firefox browser on Ubuntu 14.
Anyone got any solutions?

Problems with staying logged in
Re: Problems with staying logged in
I've had a similar problem. When I try to change anything in my ship loadout, I get booted to a login screen. I have filed a bug report. I am using Firefox as well.
Re: Problems with staying logged in
Nothing we have changed our end guys, at a loss as to what to suggest, especially with regards to have already having tried various browsers. I assume you are both using desktop browsers and not phones or tablets.
There have been no major or minor code changes since the Weeks Festivities. There are several reasons CE would terminate a connection but these are Session related. Nothing has changed in how we handle sessions since the original frame work of the game was laid down 10 years ago.

Re: Problems with staying logged in
Well boss, I've tried it on Firefox, Chrome, IE and Safari on my computer. I just tried it on Safari on my wife's computer. All results are the same. Any attempt to change anything in my ship loadout and I get the "insufficient permissions" request to log back in. I have no issues changing my specials or pods.
Re: Problems with staying logged in
I have checked with the staff this morning an also from two different locations on different comms providers and various browsers and cannot replicate any issue with any form of load out switching, be it standard or specials or pods.
I wonder perhaps if this is a geographical issue at this time as its strange it also fails on your wife's as well. Can i ask if your using a mac or PC?

P.S logged in on Prevs Laptop some 40 miles away at this point in time, hence replying on prevs account

Re: Problems with staying logged in
My computer is a PC and my wife's is a Mac. I have a PC at my office and I'll try there later today and get back to you. If it is geographical, that won't help as my office is not far from home. Thank you for your efforts and I'll report back much later today.
Re: Problems with staying logged in
I'm having the problem as well playing on Chrome. I play on satellite internet though, so I'm used to it acting weird.
Re: Problems with staying logged in
I've been having similar problems. Any time I do anything it logs me out. Docking, undocking, moving and I get logged out. It started 3 days ago and is completely unplayable.
I'm also using firefox on a PC Decktop and have tried IE with the same results.

Re: Problems with staying logged in
It's totally unclear as to why this would be happening. Sessions are issued to everyone the same way and processed by browsers the same way. We have changed nothing on the server and no code changes what so ever. It might be helpful if those with 'session issues' IE getting kicked from the game were to reveal where in the world they are playing from.
Also that the thread remains clear of anyone other than those posting issues relating directly to the issue. We have tested now from locations in UK, Europe, USA, Australia and New Zealand. With no ill affects or abnormal browser / game behaviour. Nearly 250 unique players in the last 24 hours with only a handful reporting any issues. So very hard to think what it might be.

P.S Back at my own desk now.

Re: Problems with staying logged in
Just tried it at my office (1 to 1.5 miles from home). Sad to report same problem. I'll summarize as much as I can below.
Location: Missouri, USA
Home: PC - Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari.
Imac - Safari
Internet is Suddenlink Cable.
Office: PC - Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome
Internet is AT&T DSL, I believe.
Problem: "insufficient permissions" prompt requiring re-login when trying to access any part of ship loadout (via bottom menu - wrench).
I can dock/undock, change pods, specials and pretty much everything else. Exactly the same on all browsers listed.
Sorry for the fuss, Coops.
