Thanks for the feedback - Prize Added.
A Walk in the Woods helps me relax and release the tension from a hard day at the code.

I found this on a 'Where did you find this game' thread on The Reborn.

I found Core Exiles a few days back while using Google to search for "mmo browser games"

Hmmm, lessee, now.... lost our tower sometime back, and what we have now is a laptop that's more of a internet machine than a proper computer. The old one had all my old files from FL and several others, and I missed those games hugely. Got bored with board game and book sites and went looking for browser based SF games. This was the one that really caught my eye, and the rest is....the present!

I was playing another PBBG and was doing my voting rounds for the day when I saw Core Exiles on the list, though I can't remember which one it is now.

I haven't been back to the other game since. I'm really enjoying this world. It reminds me a bit of Freelancer, a bit of Elite, a bit of Pardus... a bit of lots of games I've played over the past umpteen years, and though the similarities make it comfortable to newbie here, there are enough fun and interesting differences that it's far from boring.
