OK, I am now officially back at the CE Helm Full Time (well, five days a week at a minimum). Things are a little more stable in my life and I can afford to spend some more time on the project that 'is my life' lol.
So my questions is this....
What would YOU like to see me work on the most... I have a whiteboard with close to 40 items listed... But I'm a developer and not a player, so it's likely 'My Timeline' is vastly different to yours.
So I'm offering you all a chance to voice what you'd like to see added too, finished, initialised... You can create a short list or just list your number one change / add-on etc.
I'm not looking at this stage for Large extensive bolt-on's or game wide changes but if you for instance like to see some love giving to Settlements, Corporations, Genesis Plots, Crew, Staffing etc, etc. Your list may cross over mine and that's fine, but it will give me some vocal 'Over here Coops'
Most of the good ideas in CE come from and HAVE come from suggestions, so if I'm missing something I started and never got to pour some love on let me know. Currently, as it stands, Starbases and Top level Settlements will be the grinders / crafters for the Battlebus / Hedgehog (Battleship) into and through the Nebula. This is the next and possible largest add-on to CE in a while, but whilst Starbases get to gripes with some new toys (coming their way) and I kick the battlebus idea around the staff room and Dev server I'd like to pay attention to what YOU would like to see in CE.
I'll promise to READ EVER post, but I cant promise to honour every request, but I will take your voices seriously. Of course the more that ask for the same thing.... well you know how that goes

Basically I am all in on the SB and AI Wars (Battlebus etc). One additional area is top end settlement in all galaxies. Some income or additional resource generator settlement for Expanse Settlements. Given the AI resources required for SB buildings maybe some more ways to get AI resources or larger quantities (Crates, Resource Stores Special Loot Crates),
The only other thing I can think of is my personal "desire", a Personal Anchor (relocatable/rebuildable with some effort). I recognize this not as desirable now that we have Paragon/Starbases.

Apart from SB and AI war adds which is being worked on, I would like to see player made Alien ship building for those of us with Expanse settlements.

What I would like to see is anything that is gotten through combat/salvaging should be producible in some way. This could be achieved through one-shot schematics, or very rare schematics drops, or even a forge pattern. Another way is having some sort of by-product randomly created when forging or manufacturing items.

I'd like to see some love given to some of the active professions.
In particular, Salvage/Combat, derilect exploration, and planetary exploration. Since the exclusive resources that these activities generate are easier to obtain through ERT's, there is less motivation to dedicate as much time to them. It would be fantastic to see some balance changes made to bring these professions closer to the rest.
Since these are active professions, these should probably get more attention.

I would also love to see some new content on the more passive aspects of gameplay (genesis plots, set-and-forget mining barges/corporation missions/ship crews). Those features are OK as they are, but more options and more decisions to make would bring new life to them.
Examples: Genesis combat stat transparency would give meaning to using some units over others and make decisions feel more impactful. Stats pages for corporation crew members to make the effects of gearing them up more transparent? Corporation Pods? Corporation crew mission types (e.g., combat: defense, combat: escort, combat: Assault, with different risk/reward curves)? Mining Barge XP scaling and industrial features? Make Mining Barge "Hired Gun" an active special? Ship Crew mission loot based on mission type? Ship boosts based on crew member skills?

1. Remote control pod or captain upgrade for corporations - don't have to keep going back to HQ to send crew on missions.
2. Higher cargo capacity contracts for corporation mid level office (Rigal Haulage) 400 to 550.
3. Narrowing the combat loot list by location to make it easier to target specific resources e.g. A.I combat loot, certain locations only have certain A.I loot OR
4. A.I resources forge patterns e.g. Primarr, Wisbarr, Farsite, Tellsamat, Zemar etc and AI - UN A01-A05

- Being able to set contracts on ships you try to sell through the hanger

Great to read you've all had your hats on or at least taken the opportunity to voice some long 'wished for' ideas. Keep em coming and I'll keep reading and pondering them and their viability / balancing and 'doability'

I would love to see the salvage system updated. It's gotten stale and the mining and combat loot systems were updated and I really enjoy those now. I would also like to see more forge patterns and possibly more salvage and loot containers added since I don't think any have been asked in the last 10 years. But #1 for me is a salvage system update
