I found CE as a banner ad while playing Pardus, which is a similar space-faring game, but without the depth of CE and yet with a more demanding day-to-day necessity, so once I started trying out CE I quickly made the switch as it matched my gamestyle a lot more :)

Well, I was playing Star Wars the Old Republic, but could not play it if I was mobile (via tablet or at work,) so I began looking for a more playable game.

I originally did a "sci-fi browser game" search in duck-duck-go, which yielded your little slice of heaven among others. After a number of other less-than-fun games, Core Exiles came to bat. I have not looked back since.
An intriguing (though sometimes frustrating) game with a great bunch of players.

Thanks, Coops for bring such a motley crew together. The fellow players really put the icing on a fun game.

Found it browsing the game list in audiogames.net
Loved the idea of persistent, non pvp, heavily story driven game.

Wow! I originally started way back when this game was known as SU. I had actually played for about 6 months before the shut down and came back for a while afterwards. I can remember the excitement of the opening of the new galaxies VP and Furnace. After a while life drifted me away from playing games.

I returned to gaming a little over a year ago and at first couldn't remember the name of this game. So I did some searching for games of this type. When the familiar Blue Dot and Core Exiles banner finally popped up on my screen I was excited to see it still around. The changes in the time I was gone have only made this game better.

Thank you, Coops
