Gal-Fed Fleet Engage RAID

In a fairly unprecedented show of strength the Northern Gal-Fed Patrol fleet engaged the Pirate RAID that has been causing so much trouble to shipping in Palolon for the last few weeks.

We have scanned our data banks and it's been over 6 years since a Gal-Fed Admiral wasted valuable ships and man power on the Pirate RAID's that seem to plague our shipping lanes these days.

Admiral 'Jet' Heller has been known to break the odd 'chain of command' orders, but when you make the rules I guess it's easier to break them. By all accounts the RAID was far better prepared than the Admiral realised and four frigate and two destroyers were disabled by the RAID during the prolonged attacks this morning.

The RAID eventually moved to the Jump Gate to make a get away and Admiral Jet was unable to muster enough ships to stop it jumping through to the Yaralista System.

The admiral decided to stop there and has docked what's left of his sizeable fleet in the Palolon system for some pretty extensive repairs. The RAID is currently repairing itself in the Yaralista system but does not seem to have attempted to move any further.
