Following an in depth audit today at the offices of Sven Yarrell, news has broken that will likely upset many a Captain that has in the past taken advantage of his excellent bartering scheme.
The fine that imposed on Sven for his "erratic" business practices is by all accounts a record in the history of the Gal-Fed Auditing Department. The 150 Billion credit fine has forced Sven to look very closely at his pricing structure and it is reported that some of the goods he has on offer have increased significantly in "points price".
We have got a copy of Svens' press release via his spokesman Arthur Brain.
Let's hope that the situation clears up for Sven quickly, and that he can eventually manage to recover some of his losses.Sven is really sorry to all his regular customers but this fine has just about cleaned him out. He will not give up the bartering system as it works well and helps out a lot of people that are short on credits, but He has had to put the points price up on some of the larger items to try and recover some of his losses.
He will make sure that all his records are kept up to date to avoid any further annoyances from these damned bureaucrats
