Hello fellow spacefarers, Gabby Newsome here with The News You Can Use.

It’s not exactly Black Friday but there is a lot of hustle and bustle going on around those Star Bases that have been glittering in the night sky.

The Government Office For Public Safety gave the Star Bases a final safety check and has allowed them to begin soliciting commercial contracts. Star Base owners are breathing a huge sigh of relief as they have an opportunity to actually have some credits coming in to off-set the huge cost of deploying, and maintaining their Star Base.

Currently there are no restrictions on contracts, except specific expanse type. Ashar and Wesbec can occupy the same Star Base; Even Outlaw offices are allowed. Of course even at that, Star Base contracts are noticeably higher than their settlement counterparts.

I spoke with Captain Elkhorn and he said he was hoping the novelty of shopping at a Star Base, and the variety would bring in business. “Having Wesbec and Ashar together is a great plus. You can fill your hold with Wesbec then top it off with Ashar ** without having to fly to another settlement”.

So there you have it folks. Star Bases are open for business and looking for customers.
