In an amazing turn of events the Galactic Budget Office has uncovered evidence of collusion among the various weapons manufacturers to rig bids in order to keep the military contracts running at stratospheric prices.
The Gal Fed military immediately cancelled all contracts in order to review them while the GBO will do some comparative analysis between the civilian and government contracts.
Due to the abrupt cancellation of the contracts worth hundreds of trillions of credits, the various weapons manufactures have had to close numerous stores through-out the Sphere.
The abrupt closure of these stores has caused some market uncertainty and there have been reports of other store closures.
Amazingly DarkLight Labs and OFC have taken advantage of the turmoil to open a few stores to increase their presence.
