Gal-Fed assigns RAID task force

With the additional support from pirate groups in Furnace the RAIDs are supplied and upgraded more frequently.
Gal-Fed recently sent in an "observation" team while our brave Captains were in combat with the RAID today.
Unfortunately the firepower and rapid repair facilities of the RAID was too much for the small group of of 9 Captains and they had to withdraw.

During the brief sortie one Captain managed to inflict almost half a million points in damage but they were unable to take it down!

Gal-Fed has assigned a special RAID task force to "observe and assist" when these RAIDs have reached the point where they are interfering with lawful commerce.

Gal-Fed insists that they have not changed their long-standing tradition of non-interference with the various faction alignments, only that they will continue to patrol the space-lanes to ensure the free flow of persons and commerce engaged in lawful travel.

It remains to be seen what "assistance" they will offer.
