It's Christmas and its that TIME AGAIN! Time to STOMP THE STAFF!

The overall premise is for players to see if they can beat the Staff in a 'Week of Mech Mayhem'. The competition will carry with it Server Wide bonuses should players breach certain goals. Plus at the end of the week the top scoring 15 Mechs still standing will be awarded special prizes!

Starts When: Starts the 23rd @ 14:00 Game Time.

Ends When: Ends the Jan 1st @ 14:00 Game Time.


Rules [PLEASE READ]
Top 15 Overview:
Mechs entered into the Zones fall into Two categories.

Category 1: Playing ONLY For fun. If playing for fun and simply to kill and claim mech kill rewards.

Category 2: Those who wish to play and TRY to keep their mechs alive and with the most amount of Kills and Points for the Final top 15 rewards.

Category One Explanation players can use any naming format they like. You can take part in the mech wars and claim the 'Special Name' kill rewards (see below).

Category Two Explanation You must adhere to the following naming convention of your mechs.

TOP 15 - Naming Rules
1: Mechs entered into the mech arena that wish to be considered for the end prizes and included in the top 15 Mechs must be prefixed with a 'PL' Moniker. IE PL Basher or PL Thumper.

2: Mechs entered into the Arena are done so at the player's discretion. CE and its staff will not be held responsible for any issues be that may result. Double, triple kills, lost tracking, wildfire or any issue that may occur in the Mech Zone, please do NOT bug report these they are known issues see the Mech Section.

3: Mechs may be withdrawn and repaired and still remain eligible for the top slots.

4: The top 15 mechs will be ranked on their accumulated 'Mech Points'

5: Mechs will only be considered for the top ten prizes if they carry the PL prefix.

6: Server wide prizes will only be awarded once the targets set out are breached.

7: Any mech (with Kill Points) entered into the Mech Zones carrying a PL Moniker BEFORE the start time will be automatically disqualified from entry to the Top 15 prizes winners. Please bear this in mind when creating mechs prior to the competition starting!

8: As we are opening it up to 15 winners, only your highest scoring mech will be counted within the top 15. IE, you can only have one position in the top 15. If you have more than one high scoring mech, we will take the one with the highest score.

9: Draw Mech Point scores will share the same rewards.

Prizes:
When the competition starts, the current scores for Players VS Staff will be zeroed for the start of the competition. When the players breach the scores below, a Server wide prize will be awarded.

500 Fuel : 100 Mechs Killed - Server Wide Prize
1,000 Fuel : 250 Mechs Killed - Server Wide Prize
1,500 Fuel : 500 Mechs Killed - Server Wide Prize
2,000 Fuel : 750 Mechs Killed - Server Wide Prize

That's a total of 5,000 fuel to everyone with an account at the time of the award FREE if you breach the 750 Pirate mechs destroyed marker!

Top 15 Prizes
When the competition closes, we will take a snapshot of the mechs alive at that point. Those that conform to the PL moniker prefix and have Mech Points amassed will then be counted and scored. The highest 15 MP point mechs will then be listed and rewarded shortly after the competition closes.

Special Prize
A special prize will go to a Mech with the Highest Kills still alive when the final whistle blows! (Must carry a PL Prefix) If this is a draw between more than 1 player, the prize will be awarded to both.

Mechs MP points and kills are not always related, as you can gain a high MP award from simply killing a mech carrying a high MP count of its own. This means keeping your mech alive is then also part of the fun, should you risk it or will you play it safe?

Track The Santa Kills - Claim & Win
This year Santa has joined us here in the Office and as a sign of his thanks for your fantastic efforts dropping off his Toys he's dropping special PRIZE MECHS with Prizes Attached. I'll post a thread for reporting those kills closer to the time.

Final Notes:
Please don't log bugs relating to the Mech Zone, the code has been in place for several years, and we are fully aware of the related glitches that can happen from time to time. There is nothing to gain from complaining about a battle outcome due to an issue in the Zones. Re read Rule #2.

Staff Run Extras
Depending on how much time the STAFF get this festive period, you may find they also run their special named mech prize pop-up competitions. You will need to watch the chat and in game header for their own competitions. (Separate to mine and the overall Kill goals)

REMINDER!

Starts When: Starts the 23rd @ 14:00 Game Time.

The Stomp The staff runs till January the First, and we will be dropping staff mechs and party mechs (for rewards). PLEASE READ the rules above to avoid disappointment and mechs not counting.

If you have never taken part in a Staff VS players, your mechs need to have a PL prefix if you want them to count towards the top Kills. Please Read above!

Well its only midday on the 28th and you have beaten us up and down the Mech arena into a bloody pulp. So far, we managed to kill 494 of your mechs to your current score of 797! That's probably the quickest Christmas beating we have ever taken!

I will pay out the 5,000 Fuel ⛽ ticket this morning and set TWO new Goals for you.. (should you take the bait) :)

Truly an amazing feat!

The competition for Top mech points will continue until the closing time of the Mech War, and we will continue to drop our mechs fort you to abuse and trounce!

Stage 5 : 1400 - 5000 Server Wide Fuel Prize
Stage 6 : 1800 - 5000 Server Wide Fuel Prize

Hi there @fellow Exiles!

I've been looking at the Mech Scores, and you're currently on 1,306 - So I'm going to give you till 5:00 PM today to complete the next stage and earn yourselves another 5K in Fuel Tickets.

So that an extension to the MECH WAR till 5:00 PM (17:00 Game Time).

The final fight is over for this Stomp The staff and I took a Snap Shot at that time. Of these I then drew the Top 15 Mech Commanders with Mechs alive with Kill Points. These Fifteen names get to choose from the pot of Rewards below. I have already handed out the Mech Fuel rewards this time round so See if you're in the Top 15 and if so decide on ONE item and drop me a line in game or in Discord via PM.
