Pimp my ride: what and why

Post by alumoi »

As of yesterday, my trusted old bucket, a.k.a the baddest, meanest, toughest multirole ship ever to roam the galaxies, got a 10,000 energy boost.
I know it's not much, but I only had 9,000 festive points and the paycheck was a little lighter this month, but anyway: since I try to multirole in the games (combat, cargo, mining) I thought energy is the way to go. You know, more weapons, bigger shield, larger cargo and, more important, I can postpone building a new ship for at least 30-40 levels.
What did you choose (will choose) and why?

I have used up all my available festive points and added Energy, Cargo and Armour to my Multi-Role. I will probably add more Energy and a Skill Boost with my last 2 updates when I can afford them. Why, because that seems to be the most multipurpose way to go.

This new feature is very, very cool!
I personally, will be waiting until my next PM ship, to add all the bad boy upgrades.
I will get a level 155 multi roll PM ship and pimp it right out.
No point pimping out the ship I am in now because I will need more and more and more of everything as I level up.
Don't want to peak too soon as they say...
If you put all 7 upgrades on cargo, you would have a crazy hauler!
You could probably pass 3000 cargo space!
Now you would have to drink a coffee whilst you selected Wesbec jobs LOL
Don't even go there with Ashar LOL!
You would have to eat your tea too.....
If at first you don't find a mission ore, try and try again :)

We have had an initial rush on the Pimp Service and so far every customer seems more than happy with their Festive Point Purchase. Now all we need are a few Supporter Purchases lol - Guess I need to find more uses for your Festive Points, or stop giving them away LMAO :)

Seriously though I'm glad to guys / ladies are happy with this. It was on the white board for a while and recent events with a few captains made me bring it to the forefront ad release it.

so far I've added 200 cargo to mine, and next I think will be another cargo boost, then perhaps some skill boosts or armour hull with my remaining 5. though it is tempting to 'pimp' it out with all cargo to get up to 2500 fully equipped. haven't decided yet because I don't know what will be needed in my next 10 or 20 levels. but yeah really enjoying the possibilities with the new addition. and coops I have 7 festive points so will be making a visit to the CE store when I do decide on the next moves lol.

I think I will go with the Rexx Ship Wrap. A durable coating for your vessel that adds to your armour and your allure! A beautiful rendition of Rexx Shred in all his glory. These come in a variety of poses to fit any vessel!

I'm thinking about upgrading my ship by 400 since as a full time hauler that would give me a lot. But i'm still not sure considering that it cost a lot so there is a possiblity i might not do it.

No kidding! But with enough entertainment poured into your coffee it'll be alright! ;)
