Welcome, Captain

CE is a vast game with a lot to take in and learn. But take small bites at it and you'll be fine. Make sure you do the starter missions and work out what type of main profession you want to do. USE the player base both HERE in the forums and in Discord Chat.

We are all here to help you in your quest to learn more about CE, so don't be worried about asking questions.

Most of all - Have Fun!

Welcome, Captain Kaloseidos!

Core Exiles is an excellent, old school, science fiction game. Lots of freedom, lots of depth, and player support is great (through the chat). Do the introductory quests to learn the basics. Later on (level 5 or so), consider joining a guild to get player bonuses to credits and experience points. Enjoy!

I don't know if I should answer here or not, but I was interested in guilds, I just can't find much on them. The forum guild board is pretty dead. :( And I thought maybe there'd be a link to find some under guild in my player bio tab...anyone have some direction? I am interested, and already addicted to this game, so I'll be around at least a couple years...hahahahaha

oh, excuse my manners, oops!! thanks for the welcomes, I'm loving it here!! :D

Hello Captain Kaloseidos,

I'm glad you like Core Exiles !

I joined the Aesir guild, and I am pleased with it. There are 10%+ bonuses on credits and experience, plenty of mentoring if you ask, plenty of written materials to study, a 50-50 loan program to buy a better ship, and no one is pushing you to give them money or services just for joining. You can join and do nothing else and collect the 10%+ bonuses on credits and experience; that's what I have been doing lately. Contact a player by the name of Locknload for more information. Or ask Coops to tell you who is the main contact person for Aesir Guild now; Coops is the founder and primary administrator for CE. You can ask in a private message or in the chat program. Let us know what you find out.

Hi Kalos, make you way over to Jerris Outpost in the Fieron system, the Guild Office complex is there and you can
examine all the guilds there (some 30 guilds at this time). Contact info is available there also. Few guilds have boards anymore,
most of the time contact is thru email or chat.

I won't recommend any particular guild, but I would suggest going with a guild thats levelled up to 10 or higher.
Lower level guilds are usually newer or have few members, this might be ok for you but expect less support from them than a long
established guild can provide. Also, I suggest avoiding guilds that tax or lay requirements on new players, theres plenty that
don't do that. Unless they are offering significant support (like a free PM ship or free kit), no point in enriching someone else with
your labor.
