Press Officer Release : Coalition High Command Official Report pertaining to The Expanse.
16 days ago we received a communication from Our lead 'Fleet Command' vessel in the Expanse. The communique was decoded and to our astonishment was sent from a planet deep inside the Expanse and it appeared to be of Alien origin.
We have since confirmed the transmission came from the Banran system in the Expanse. The communique was from a Race of Aliens calling themselves the Naristro.
This is a partial military vetted release of that statement. This statement has undergone several further translations to allow it to be fully understood. (our thanks to the AJL for their help).
Coalition High Command, we are pleased to communicate with you at this time. We are the Naristro. You have entered our Galaxy and your actions have caused us to convene a council of 'Xanthar' . Only twice in our entire history has a 'Xanthar' been called such was the gravity of the situation.
We share this Galaxy with a much younger race. A race in civil war and turmoil with it's self and one bent on domination of the Galaxy by any means. They are known to us as the Javoran.
Your entry into the Expanse was devastating on the Javorans population and as you are aware several billion Javoran's were annihilated by your use of 'pulse wave' technology in an attempt to map our Galaxy.
The Javorans technology is mostly stolen or hybrid, and their life support systems susceptible to your drones survey systems. So we stepped in to stop further loss of life on a Galactic scale.
We stopped your drones and reprogrammed them with the base core info on our Galaxy. We could not how ever stop the Javoran from retaliating against your entry forces. You must understand we the Naristro abhor the use of violence. We have for generations managed to live in peace without the need for violence or killing.
We have superior technology to the Javorans but choose to only use fatal force when provoked into doing so.
That having been said we are sending you this communique to pass one this core message.
Should you or any Human attempt to use 'Pulse Wave' technology in the Expanse we will have no option but to deactivate the Intergalactic jump-gate in Yam. We will do so without further warning or reminder.
How you choose to deal with the Javorans is up to you. We wont stand in the way of your Human 'preoccupation' with combat and exploration but we cannot allow you to annihilate the Javorans on unequal grounds.
Our Xanthar has agreed that the entry of Humans into our Galaxy may indeed be a blessing as you have no qualms with confrontation or combat and seek to explore akin to our early forefathers. Whilst the Javorans are a plight on our race and their driven goal to populate every planet in the Expanse is something we cannot stop without use of force.
So we will allow your kind safe harbour on our planets and even allow trade between our races. For now we will watch humanity with interest.

The above press release was given to us this evening from the Coalition Press HQ on Sharaia. Our tech department have confirmed the message has been heavily modified and cut in places it seems, but what exists is part of the original message.
The destruction of so many planets and their populations explains why the Alien race known as the Javorans are hell bent on the destruction of all humanity. Who can blame them.
Apparently the Coalition are scanning all vessels entering into the Expanse for 'Pulse Wave' capable technology and we for one can't blame them either. Whilst it seems in the mean time we are tied into a prolonged and drawn out war with the Javorans the possible gains of Trade with such an advanced race as the Naristro greatly outweighs any other considerations.
We will be running a number of stories over the next few days relating news as we get it but one thing is for certain the Expanse is about to get a whole lot hotter!
