I'm level 183, but I need some items from lower levels. Lack of IP limits my skills and Energy level. So:

I enter The New Global Items Market (GIM). I'd like to put an offer for Reactor:

• level - Not care, I'm looking for lower-level items
• power - 25k+, better than my best weak reactor
• skill - maximum 1000,
• Skill type - Reactor (not Alien)
• Price - 1M
• Open for negotiation - yes;

Then another player enters GIM and sees that in secure storage there is a shiny, almost new reactor that fits my needs. They can click "sell" or click "negotiate" to send me a PM with their price (If I am open to negotiation).

So my suggestion is not for certain items, but to find an item that is useful for me.
One could imagine a similar filter to emporium items.
