Pirate owned stations?

I was wondering if there was a point to grinding pirate rep for anything? are there pirate owned stations? pirate npcs? pirate schematics?

There are a few stations that only pirates can get into-- Dark Raven in the Kell Expanse system, for one, there are other in Furnace Galaxy but I don't remember their names. There are only 3 or 4 NPCs that cater to Pirates. The schematics in this game are available to everybody(as long as you can afford to buy them that is).
