Strangletorn Industries have had a disastrous week. First they came under fire from the investigation department of Fair Trading and Scientific studies (F.S.S). It seems they had been failing to keep their research and development reports up to date within the government guidelines. It was also rumored that their chief exec was under investigation for embezzlement charges, but this has not yet been confirmed.

The company today went in to receivership after their stock plummeted due to a shipment of their Data Storage devices being hijacked and subsequently lost in the police chase.

It seems once a month their research and development department transfer all their research data via secure shipment to Lorat where their H.Q offices are located. Only this time the shipment was hijacked and through a sheer fluke the vessel was destroyed by chasing Police vessels as it entered into the Jump Gate system.
The entire Jump Gate system was shut down for 20 minutes whilst emergency checks were made but it seems that the Hi-Jacked Transport ship was no where to be seen within the Rail Network. In fact engineers believe it was 'disassembled' and various parts of it scattered across the entire network of gates.

Gal-fed officials were quick to step in and state that the jump gate system was entirely safe to use and that accidents like this were extremely rare.
