Coops, a couple of quick questions on Manufacturing.

1. I just want to confirm that removing the manufacturing building to relocate does not cause the lose of 'Research Manufacturing Projects' points.

2. Since it does not seem that at low manufacturing levels the manufacturing crew member has a lot to do, are we able to remove the crew member and put him in a ship temporarily? in other words make him part time manufacturing/ship captain?

I can answer those

1. Removing the building does not remove the research - in fact, you can do the research even without a building, and with it not equipped. So definitely not dependent on having the building equipped - only needed when doing actual builds.

2. Think of the building as a different type of ship - you can assign a Captain to captain the building and remove them for some other purpose, just as you would with a ship. Assign them to the building when you want to build something, move them to a ship when you don't and let them explore the galaxies (one combat mission at a time ).
