scan tech + salvage

Hi all,

Does Scan Tech influence the frequency and amount that you can salvage?
If so what level of Scan tech is optimal? [or maximum scan tech that has an effect]

I currently have 221 scan tech and am wondering if there is any point increasing it.. [or if they would be wasted IPs]

[is there a 501 soft limit?]

any experiences welcome!

Only amount is influenced. for best result you require 500 or 501. you should see increase amount when you get 250 (or 251) and every 50 up.
