Pirate attacks seem to have become much more regular, recently.
In Feb the timing varies by as much as several days but now they suddenly have become within seconds of being exactly 48 hours.

Re: Pirate Attacks Seem...
A while ago a bunch of pirates broke into Coops laboratories and stole the plans for a device called a watch, which they have been adopting since. This was alleged in this post

In one of the 'other threads' re Events I posted that I had speeded up the ticker for Attacks as the ticker could not cope with 267 settlements within the time frame allotted. This meant that events were firing in some cases faster than attacks.
With the ticker speeded up for attacks it can now cater for them on a more regular basis. So yes they will begin to be far more regimented. Sadly the only way I could ensure attacks and events did not get to far of base from each other.
Story line lets just say the pirates are more organised and have a far better time piece than before
Balancing a game like this to ensure there is fairness all round and still allow for a level of randomness is getting harder by the year. But I still try

That's ok, I was just afraid they might have Unionized.

If they go on strike we're all in trouble.von Wolfenbitten wrote:That's ok, I was just afraid they might have Unionized.

That might be the next level of extortion. They show up and demand payment BEFORE they attack.

If they show up demanding payment, I will allow them to live a little longer if they leave.
That should be ample payment.

Pirate Attacks
At All Welcome in VP, Pirate attacks have got so regular and predictible that myself and all my set staff get stuck into the new "entertainment" in my enhanced and thoroughly developed coffees and leave my Guide Dog Yardley liaising with my Ship's AI to co-ordinate set defences and kick their arses.
We all stagger back to defence HQ when the enhanced coffees have ran dry, seeing triple and even some amazing colours we thought hadn' even existed, to discover that the ship's AI and Yardley have left the entire defence of the settlement to Guss the news guy who is reading his info tablet
!
Well...they do say...never work with animals LOL

Come on Sparky, surely "All welcome" includes pirates. Otherwise the word "All" should be removed. From Albert, (In the next Welsh valley.)
