Fabrication Warehouse

Post by Elkhorn »

As I popped into my settlement this morning to do some house keeping I had a thought. Yes, occasionally I do think. Anyway, I have my Glesco factories eating resources and churning out lovely stuff, I have my mines producing metals and my ORSA producing all manner of nice stuff. I have pirates that leave lovely debris raining down on my settlement. It comes time to send those resources to the GBM, where I can make tons of lovely credits.
There is this handy "Transport All" button, but I need to keep some of my raw resources for my factories. So here we are, moving stuff one category at a time so I can keep the six items I need for my factories.
There are two possible solutions I can see right off.
1. create a fabrication warehouse. Somewhere to stow the resources for my factories.
2. A "don't move these" flag setting (radio button) to mark resource not to transfer.
There are probably other ways of doing this, but it would be a nice feature to have.

why fabrication warehouse only?

It's much better to be implemented in the commercial transport. Including your suggestion, I want to add that It will have a checkbox per item. There will also be an added "transport selected" button beside the "transport all" button.

not only settlement owners will be happy but all of us. Easy transport of any resources @ a few click and page load. :D
