Quick salvaging question

Post by Akkamaddi »

This is a technical question.

If you have a wreck extender, and are in a busy area, is the distribution of the age of the wrecks you find flat, weighted to new, or weighted to old?

Edit: If I can see ten wrecks at a time going back up to 50 hours, will I see wrecks of all ages (flat), more old wrecks than new (weighted old), or more new wrecks than old (weighted new)?

just talking here, feel free to ignore me.
i suspect it's randomly picked across all, as there is no timestamp on when the ship was killed.

At this time that's correct the pull from the database is currently not sorted. It just pulls 'valid' wrecks based on your stats. Although it's an interesting point, and one I never considered.
