Planetary Settlement Review

Post by Gus Givens »

The twice yearly meeting of the Planetary Settlements Review board was held yesterday, and their officer responsible for the license permits Miss Ellie Durant was there to show her recent findings. Also present were members from the Gal-Fed Rangers and the Gal-Fed science division.

The meeting covered a wide range of topics but top of the agenda was the progress, or lack there of, of the Gal-Fed led scientific team in the Expanse. The deployment of a test facility 'Gal-Fed Science Station 1' on Foothold has so far been hamstrung by a lack of scientific and engineering supplies. A report from Lt Lutac over in Franklyn showed that so far 541 of the 11,210 items required to complete the project had been handed in.

The leader of the Project 'Next Step' stated that they could continue to work on the issue of survivability studies without the resources, but they were required for the project to complete anywhere in the near future.

Meanwhile the Settlement Review Board also agreed to another batch of new settlement license to be issued today, along with an update to the settlement database. Old and out of use licenses have been removed from the Planetary Settlement data banks leaving 113 license issued (currently) and 112 in use out of a maximum of 415.
