Thieves Strike at Festive Center!

Post by Gus Givens »

It seems nothing is sacred these days. The Festive Centre has been working day and night decorating the offices with Easter Eggs donated by the local schools. They had reached record breaking levels this year with over 500 eggs adorning the office and the Festive centre work place.

Tragically last night this was all ruined by a team of 'Egg Thieves' who broke into the Festive Centre during the night. Luckily one of their team was captured by promenade security as the team left with their 'loot'. With some 'delicate persuasion' (a pair of pliers and some Medieaval spirit) he revealed they were purchased for a private buyer who offered them an obscene amount of credits to steal them.

Out team of halfwit thieves stole the eggs then placed them in separate delivery pouches attempting to use the Galactic-post as a safe delivery system to their buyer. Unfortunately it seems in their haste they forgot to enter anything in the 'delivery' slot. The Galactic-post being what it is accepted the packages (all 500 of them) and promptly sent them on their way.

A spokesman for the Galactic-post stated that whilst it was not their policy to take mail with no 'delivery address', when confronted with five armed men wildly waving 500 small packages and very large guns - they send packages anywhere.

The spokesman went on to say that over the coming week he expected these items to 'turn up' in various random mail box's. They will get delivered, just not to anyone in particular.

We hope that when they do they will be returned to the 'Festive Centre'. In fact they have added a Festive reward on each egg returned in the hope to get most of them back. Meanwhile the 'Egg Thieves' are wiping the yolk off their faces and kicking their heels in the local detention cell.
