What happened to DIPSI Technology?

Last week the Galactic Research Project completed it's lengthy work on Dimensional Integrated Phase Space Image technology (DIPSI). This was a major breakthrough and the data was to be auctioned off to the highest bidder as usual amongst the manufacturing and scientific companies.

But....

It seems that Gal-Fed have stepped in and 'taken' the data and all of the gathered findings and placed it under a tight security blanket. In fact there is so little information about the action that we have been unable to glean any information on the 'appropriation' of DIPSI by Gal-fed other than they have it.

There are 'rumors' that Gal-Fed scientist have found a novel and as yet untested use for the DISPI technology, but the method in which they appropriated the tech has definitely made them unwelcome in the manufacturing and scientific community.

All we have managed to work out is that Gal-Fed has the technology and is making it clear it's for the good of all mankind.
