Staff Take Vote on Settlement Leadership!

It seems that all is not well in the Settlement ranks. We have begun to hear rumors of strikes and morale drops in various settlements today. This comes about just days after a major conference in Descarte where senior settlements staff were activity encouraged to join S.T.U.C. (Settlement Trade Union Council).

It appears a select few settlement owners have decided to skimp on repairing their settlements bases after combat. Some settlement staff reported their base of operations looked like Swiss Cheese. Walls in a total state of disrepair, holes you can stick your head though and general battle damage just left untouched.

Sure enough the settlement owners had enough guns and missiles in most cases to defeat a small armada but it doesn't stop settlement staff from sleeping uneasily wondering how long before the Pirates begin using Shield penetrators or worse!

It seems the STUC balloted their members and a new bill was passed enabling them to strike if they employers ignored their plight. This of course will have a knock on affect on morale.

How this turns out is anyone's guess but, Caitlin Masters over on Torque is reporting a bumper trade in Settlement Armour Packs today.
