The Federation Of Mining has pulled off one of the quietest Office Launches we have seen or reported on in quiet some time. Early today rumours began emerging that Several new stores (now believed to be in the region of 12) were having their promenade fascias updated and activity in these previously empty offices.
Turns out the Federation Of Miners have launched a new Office and opened branches in the Sphere and even in Verec-Per. There has been no word yet on either the Anvil or Forge galaxies.
A spokesman for the FOM stated that they were carrying our detailed surveys of the Asteroid Fields in all the known galaxies and hoped their members would help them with this important work.
Apparently the FOM have added a useful help page to their offices and Gal-Fed have seen fit to add a Mission status page to your top right hand drop down on your screens.
There has been some rumours that whilst the FOM are happy to give missions to almost anyone they are seeking severe penalties for anyone aborting a mission. So you have been warned.
We haven't been able to tell if these offices will be offered to Settlement owners yet, but at this time it does not seem a current option.
