Christmas Tokens Unlocked & 'For Sale'

Post by Coops »

Hi there Fellow Exiles. I come bearing some news that should warm the soul of even the darkest Pirate Captains heart. Normally we wrap up the Christmas Exchange Tokens in the first week of January. Recently I extended that to the 2nd of February for the late comers.

BUT.... after much thought and heart searching I have decided that whilst tokens can only be gained during the Festivities surrounding November December and in to January - you will NOW be able to spend them ANY TIME during the year.

Essentially this removes the LOCK OUT on spending your tokens after the Festive period finishes. You cans till collect them up to the 31st of January either in competition wins or via Rewards for spending in the store (or even purchasing them direct).

This means you can exchange your Tokens (Valued 4,900,000 at Joes Prices) any time.

The resource Token value is now SET and will not change.

Christmas Resource Tokens - For Sale
These will be for Sale in the CE store until Midnight on the 31st of January. We will continue to give them for spending (in real money) as rewards just like we have through December and extend this through January as well.

Giving you the option to collect them as rewards for cash spends in the CE store or to actually purchase them directly.

PS for those who may question this choice, it's sadly due to a VERY quiet Christmas in the CE store. I have recently outlaid a substantial amount of personal investment for upgrades and art in the coming new year and the CE coffers are very low. Hence I'm hoping allowing players to show support in this manner may help this situation.
A Walk in the Woods helps me relax and release the tension from a hard day at the code.
The fact that I'm dragging a body behind me should be irrelevant!
