A feature has been added that is loosely based upon a recent request made in the forums..
You can now "Star" important messages in your main mailbox to highlight them, and draw them up to the top of the list. It was decided that this method was better than simply marking a read message unread, as with an unread status, it would have remained in its place in the list. Marking it with a star will change the color of the message, AND raise it to the top of the list in the mailbox.
Clearly, this is not an excuse to keep mail indefinitely, and starred messages will not be immune to the prune rules.. but it will quite simply allow you to highlight an important message until you have dealt with it. Starred messages will not be deleted with the "Delete All" button, but can be deleted with the regular delete button.
