Staffium in crafting

Post by Akkamaddi »

Hi all,

So, I currently have a GBM for a massive pile of Droffalt because I decided to build a Salvage Discriminator S2.

If Staffium is going to be used in crafting (including Engineering), could we get terrestrial Gleso equivalent, instead of just the AMR? The AMR's currently require 25 units of each input for 25 output. Perhaps the Gleso versions have 25 of each input, 25 Dyz fuel (or perhaps a new extractable fuel? *cough*cough*), and 25 either Water or Refined Chemicals, for an output of 20? Or 20 of each input and an output of 10?

Or, perhaps, a way to get the resources we get from mining into the Orbital Refinery?

Lesser Gravel Grubber POD (L 50, 6 points, player made)
Greater Gravel Grubber POD (L100, 6 points, player made)
CE Golden Gravel Grubber POD (L 30, 4 points, CES)
(all single-fit)
FoM has finally made trade agreements with Wesbec and Ashar, allowing a similar resource transport to the CSTS. Having a Gravel Grubber allows a captain to transport certain licensed ores from planetside holds to the advanced ore refinery hold of the Orbiting Refinery network. To be used, the POD must be equipped, and the captain docked at an Orbiting Refinery. In the advanced ore hold, the captain will see all transferable ores. When a transfer is initiated, the process is similar to using the CSTS, but only planet-to-refinery. The captain must pay one credit per unit. The captain must then wait. The transport is a lower priority than normal transfers, with the logistics being handled by computation units within the Grubber POD itself. If using a Lesser Grubber, the transfer takes about twice as long as a comparable CSTS transport. A Greater Grubber is allowed to use priority shipping lanes, and shipments take as long as a CSTS transport. The Golden Grubber uses special quantum space lanes licensed only to Truly Wonderful brand products, and the transfer is instant. It is important to note that the Gravel Grubber POD itself is what manages the shipping and handling logistics of the transfer. Because of this, THE POD CANNOT BE UNEQUIPPED UNTIL THE TRANSFER IS COMPLETE. Unequipping the POD during transfer would cause transport shuttles to be suddenly un-piloted while in hyperspace, or captains helping with Ashar or Wesbec shipments not getting paid, so the POD is equipped with an unbreakable mirror-matter lock. The captain agrees to this restriction upon equipping the POD. Once the shipment\s is/are complete, or if there are no shipments initiated, the Gravel Grubber POD can be freely removed.

I would happily buy a couple staffium AMR's and supply them with mining, but the drone skill point investments and cost of advanced mining drones is a bit steep.
