While hunting for wrecks is part of the grand challenge of salvage, my I make the suggestion of a captain's upgrade or special item that allows captains to identify systems in which combat has recently taken place, identifying alien, AI, and standard. This could be tiered and specific based on salvage standing, alien standing, or level.
