Someone refresh my memory:
I know they won't work into or out of the Expanse, but will they work within it?
Will they transport alien "exploration" loot?
Is there a daily limit on use as there is on the QTD?

No, not a chance.
The QED limits at 10 per day unless you go to the store and upgrade.

QTD max is 50 after upgrade from store, else 10

Minos doesn't work in expanse at all, don't even bother wasting a pod point equipping it.
Otherwise there is no daily limit to number of uses.
And yes the alien-minos has been brought up several times now.
