Ships
So you arrived into CE with a starter ship, the Marauder. Although a good ship to begin with, you soon begin to realise its limitations when your power supply runs low, or you cannot equip that extra cargo expander you worked so hard for. At this point, you might want to consider a new ship.

Overview
A decision to buy a new ship should not be taken lightly. They cost a lot of money, but can help you define your role in Core-Exiles. For this reason, there are a multitude of ships available, each one unique in its own way. The best strategy is to work out what you want in a ship, what you are going to do with that ship, and then review the ships available.

How to review your ship

Eaten by Ribblez :(

But: In top left tab (Game Info) choose CE Data Repository, there is Ships tab. you'll see table with all standard Ships in game. you can sort it by level, for example, and choose your preferred Ship. Similar table is here: http://stats.core-exiles.com/ship_stat.php . Note: there are many ships with Sale Value = 0. Those are Player Made Ships (PM Ships), usually best choice for levels 40 and higher, quite expensive too.

So, Which Ship? First Ships offer little more than marauder for significant price. My second Ship was Wanderer (lvl 25), good for hauling and mining, poor for Combat. Popular choice is Liberator (lvl 31), good all-round Ship. Whan you get your second Ship you could start gathering resources for PM ship, most popular choice is Ventris (lvl 45-50), which is best all-round ship till lvl 100. if you do mostly combat, or no combat at all there will be PM ships for you in middle range. If you do both - you'll stick with Ventris till lvl 100. Note: PM ships require UHL (Universal Hangar License) from Festive store (or cash shop)

you can always ask your guilds or friends about ship for sale (UHL!) or loan for ship. it is easier to repay loan with large ship than to gather funds with marauder :)
