Hello Captain Marsion, welcome to Core Exiles.
Crafting is fun, but don't ignore the other careers in the game. You'll find a lot of depth in every path you take.

Welcome, Captain

CE is a vast game with a lot to take in and learn. But take small bites at it and you'll be fine. Make sure you do the starter missions and work out what type of main profession you want to do. USE the player base both HERE in the forums and in Discord Chat.

We are all here to help you in your quest to learn more about CE, so don't be worried about asking questions.

Most of all - Have Fun!

Welcome, Captain Marsion. Core Exiles is a remarkably free game. You are truly free to develop into whatever kind of character you want here. You don't have to fit into someone else's story-line or character class. You become what you choose and you work at. Enjoy.

PS,

After you play the introductory missions (which teach you the basics of the game), you might want to consider joining a guild -- in order to gain bonuses and mentoring. Check out the folder about Guilds for more information.

I joined the Aesir Guild and I am pleased with it. It offers 10%+ bonuses on credits and experience, a loan program to buy a better ship, and no one pressuring you for your money or your service. It also has some friendly and supportive members. If you are interested in Aesir Guild, contact a player named Locknload or a player named King David.
