Actually, I would prefer to see both if possible, but I like the 24 hour mark.
I often ask about salvaging if I see someone shooting down AI ships, but if wrecks are past the 24 hour mark, I consider them fair game. If all the wrecks are fresh, I will ask if salvaging is okay.

That always forces me to do a few passenger crawls.
I suppose I should switch to Project Terran for a bit so I can stockpile harvester fuel for the challenge.

EDIT: Not throwing shade! I like the idea, and I've worked with other combat pilots. I do mostly mining and salvage, and so I just want to avoid your contracts.
